Pimpsqueak with a One-Off-Backspacer

Here's a Pimpsqueak model with a One-Off-Backspacer in blue G10 and moonglow. The inlaid moonglow down inside the frame was hard to photograph but it's there...........and it glows!!! ;-)

XMAS Batch Green Canvas Pimpsqueak - Finished Pics

Specs:
- 154CPM two tone blade, handrubbed satin finish/stonewashed
- frame is green canvas micarta on one side with a thin liner, .160 titanium on the lock side, stonewashed
- special clip, stonewashed (clip is the whole knife shape in miniature)
- blank hardware and built like a tank with 1/4" pivot and 3/16" stop pin
- green canvas micarta backspacer

Specs:
- 154CPM blade handrubbed satin finish
- Celtic Knot milled into the frame, stonewashed and two tone blue/blue finish
- special clip, stonewashed (clip is the whole knife shape in miniature)
- heatcolored hardware and built like a tank with 1/4" pivot and 3/16" stop pin
- orange G10 backspacer

- A Celtic Knot milled into the frame, stonewashed and two tone gold/bronze finish

Burke/Blackwood "Wise Guy" Collab - More Examples

Here are a few more examples of the "Wise Guy" collaboration between Jim and me.

Burke/Blackwood "Wise Guy" Collab - Finished Pics

Jim and I are putting the final touches on these and will be posting them as they're finished. We decided to call them "Wise Guy's There will be several variations and finishes ground on two different patterns. All are 154CPM.

Specs:

-OAL 7 1/2"
-Blade 3 3/4" tip to guard, 3 1/2 sharpened (on the double edge)
-Width 1 1/4" (across the guard)

First is Wise Guy "A"

This one features a fine ceramic beadblast on the flats and edges, hand rubbed flats. Included is a Kydex neck sheath with bead chain.
















This is "Wise Guy B". This is another symetrical double edge. This one features a dark stonewash finish, Kydex neck sheath, beaded chain.
















This is Wise Guy "C". This one features a slight hawkbill blade with a top swedge. This one is finished in a dark stonewash. It comes with a Kydex neck sheath and bead chain.


Burke/Blackwood Fixed Blades Collab - The "Wise Guy" WIP

Jim and i came up with a new project. We are working on first ones together here in MS. Just simple, basic, easily concealable, light weight fixed blades.

Specs:

- OAL 7 1/2"
- Blade 3 3/4" tip to guard, 3 1/2 sharpened (on the double edge)
- Width 1 1/4" (across the guard)

They will be avaible bare or......we will offer various inlays that will attach through the hole, other options, etc. Just watch in the CK&G

More Burke/Blackwood Collab - WIP pics

After two models of my recent knife program, Jim and i doing a collaboration on two of his models.

I grinded the Runt, the smaller one and a Villain model. This a homage to the old Loveless knives with that kind of grind. It keeps the blade strong near the guard or pivot yet it's thin and useable at the belly. I've just been calling it a compound grind.

Skirmish Burke/Blackwood Collab - Finished pics

Here's the second knife Jim and I finished in this week. It's my Skirmish model with lots of Burke touches!
This was the last Skirmish I had prepped and will be the last one until some time next year, if then.

Specs:

- Jim Burke compound grind S30V blade, two tone finish
- very contoured jade G10 onlay scales with blue spacers
- spacers are made Ti standoffs
- heatcolored hartware
- .096 liners, stonewashed and blue anodized
- OAL 10 7/8"
- Blade 5"
- Closed 6 1/4"

Handle thickness is about 1" that's why we didn't go with a pocket clip

Curr Burke/Blackwood Collab - Finished pics

The Burke/Blackwood Curr is finished!

Spec:

- blade is made of Chad Nichols stainless steel damascus, "Lizard Skin" pattern
- compound bladegrind done by Jim Burke
- frame is a thin liner with CF on one side and titanium on the lock side, bead blasted, grey
- Clip bead blasted, grey
- heatcoloured hardware
