WIP AUCTION Flippin Ballistic - #1 Pics

This knife started out as parts I got from my bud Jim Burke that were from one of his PRODUCTION runs. This is not a knife that Jim and I worked on together like the ones we build when I visit his shop in MS. Basically, I'm pimping out an unfinished, PRODUCTION knife, the Flippin Ballistic! Rather than being marked with either of our names, I will include a letter of authenticity describing exactly what it is.


That said, it will receive a full blown custom build treatment. I reshaped and hand ground the blade which now has a full hand rubbed finish. The frame will get the same level of treatment as any of my custom folders. I'm also going to make a one of a kind pocket clip. The clip and frame finish are next, more photos as the night goes on.

CF Henchman - Finished Pics

The first Henchman of the bunch is ready!

Specs:

- 9 1/4" OAL
- Blade (sharpened) 4"
- Blade to handle 4 1/2"
- 154CPM steel, handrubbed satin finish
- Carbonfiber with blue fiber spacer
- two mosaic pins

Framelock Pimpsqueak with special Backspacer - Finished Pics

A framelock Pimpsqueak with a Ti pimped backspacer :-)
Specs:

- 154CPM  handrubbed satin finish
- framelock wtih .160 titanium, stonewashed, anodizing in blue
- special clip, stonewashed , anodizing in blue(clip is the whole knife shape in miniature)
- heatcolored hardware except the pivot and built like a tank with 1/4" pivot and 3/16" stop pin
- Titanium backspacer with two holes and moonglow G10, anodizing in blue

Scolloped CF Pimpsqueak with special Backspacer - Finished Pics

The scolloped texture CF Pimpsqueak is done!

Specs:

- 154CPM two tone blade, handrubbed satin finish/stonewashed
- frame is Carbonfiber with a nice scolloped texture on one side with a thin liner, .160 titanium on the lock side, stonewashed, anodizing in blue
- special clip, stonewashed , anodizing in blue(clip is the whole knife shape in miniature)
- heatcolored hardware except the pivot and built like a tank with 1/4" pivot and 3/16" stop pin
- Carbonfiber backspacer with two holes and moonglow G10

2 Pimpsqueaks - WIP Pictures

Two more in the works. One is a full framelock and the other as usual with a thin liner + CF on one side, the other is a full Ti frame. The CF one has a scolloped texture.
