I finally have my office set up at the new shop to
the point where I can take pics, post them, etc. That said, sorry for the cell
phone pics of this knife, my internet connection is still wonky and this was the
fastest way to post them.
I finished this around the holidays and the guy who wanted it has fallen off he face of the earth. It has a strange stain just behind the right thumbstud that's actually something in the steel. NOTHING will make it go away, even re-surface grinding. It's not THAT bad but it's there. I have another blade with the same marks but the hollow grinding went over it. Other than that, it's perfect it's new. The blue/green/brownish/copper patina coloring really go nice with the old natural micarta and burly wood inlay. Give it a home $1050.
